Upcoming Events

Andrew Homzy's NOLA Nighthawks: June 13/14

Ladysmith Musical Arts is bringing the sound of New Orleans to the Ladysmith Little Theatre! Andrew Homzy and his NOLA Nighthawks are sure to entertain.

They’ve prepared two different concerts of jazz, soul, and pure magic featuring vocalists Emma Alsop (Saturday, June 13th) and Kyle Sheppard (Sunday, June 14th).

Mercury Players' Timepiece: July 3rd - 5th

The Mercury Players won Best Production and a slew of additional awards with their play Timepiece at the TheatreBC South Island Zone Festival. They’ve been invited to perform in front of a larger audience in the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre as part of the provincial TheatreBC Mainstage Festival on July 10th.

To be well prepared and to raise some funds for the long trip to Vernon of the set and the 4 cast and 5 crew members, we are happy to host Timepiece again at the Ladysmith Little Theatre on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of July. Come see this award-winning show about aging, marriage, and family dynamics!

James Mullinger: July 10

The British comedian turned Canadian, live on stage in Ladysmith for the very first time!

James Mullinger was one of the UK’s hardest working comedians and the Comedy Editor for GQ magazine when he moved to New Brunswick in 2014. Since his arrival, he has taken the country by storm. He has sold out shows across the country, made appearances on CBC’s The Debaters, movies, television shows, festivals, award shows and stand-up specials… he’s done it all.

Come see him and have lots of laughs at the Ladysmith Little Theatre on July 10th!

About Ladysmith Little Theatre

Ladysmith Little Theatre is a registered non-profit society. Everyone involved in our productions is a member volunteer. This includes our actors, crew, set designers, technicians, construction crew, box office, front of house, Board of Directors and committee members. Our member volunteers keep Ladysmith Little Theatre alive and growing – just as Judi and Terry Whittaker envisioned back in 2003.
